Beyond the Walls Wellness is a community that has emerged from several individuals who's journeys have crossed paths over time. We all share a common goal, to play a meaningful part in building and sustaining a community that fosters wellness within and beyond the traditional 4 walls of an office setting.

Mission and Vision

At Beyond the Walls Wellness, our mission is to empower individuals to live well. We believe that living life well demands taking an approach beyond the boundaries of traditional therapy. We recognize that growth and wellness happen in the full spectrum of life- whether through relationships, experiences, or connecting with nature.

We seek to support each persons unique journey through helping them build resilience and and a lifestyle of wellness that transcends walls.

Our vision is to create a space where individuals break free from emotional and mental barriers that hold them back, embracing a life of resilience, fulfillment, and peace. Through innovative, holistic, and trauma-informed care, we aim to transform how people experience wellness, empowering them to heal beyond traditional boundaries.

Individual Therapy

Individual sessions will incorporate a trauma informed approach where we explore how early life experiences impact our present day thought patterns, behaviors, interactions, and relationships. We dive beneath the surface to explore, reflect, and empower clients to living life well.

Group Therapy

Group Therapy falls into 3 separate domains: Veteran Support Groups, Trauma Recovery Groups, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Groups. These groups incorporate a Yalom approach that focuses on the idea that people benefit from shared experiences and interactions in a group setting.

Adventure Based Therapy

Adventure Based Therapy or Eco-Therapy, incorporates activities like nature walks, hiking, fishing, and rock climbing. This approach promotes grounding, builds resilience, and offers real time opportunities to practice challenging faulty thought patterns and implementing cognitive reframing.
